2017 is an exciting year for us. In the summer we will complete our first major scheme in London under our new name, MAX Architects.
As these snapshots from site show, we are using a range of off-site processes to transform simple, honest materials into a rich palette. Digital fabrication techniques give us limitless freedom of expression at the touch of a button. Complex pattern, relief and texture can be achieved at minimal cost.
Meanwhile, the London streetscape continues to feed us an endless diet of brick slips and flimsy powder coated rain-screens.
When everything looks the same, how can we expect our developments to stand out?
Let’s make 2017 a year when London celebrates architectural diversity, embraces individual expression and makes buildings that stand out.
We will provide a completed building update in the summer. There will be 150,000 sq ft of highly efficient mixed-use space behind this surface texture.
